How Character Attacks Hide The Truth

posted by Stevie B on January 10th, 2009

Lets take this hypothetical example.
Say someone, who we’ll call Frank, did some very bad things.  However, in order to do these bad things, he would have to hide it so that other people, like you, have no idea what is happening. Now lets say that you happened to stumble onto some evidence and information that proves that Frank has been doing some very bad things. Normally you do not want to raise your voice because you do not want Frank to be angry with you for telling people, but this time you found out that Frank was actually doing some… ...Continue reading

I think I Figured Out Depression And Anxiety

posted by Stevie B on January 9th, 2009

Here is a simple question.

If you won ten million dollars in the lottery, how would you feel?

The majority of the world would say happy and amazing.

Curious though.  Why don’t you feel bad instead of good? You would say it is because they get a chance to remove their debt and travel somewhere nice, which is why they would feel good.

Now you might say that you would feel numb if you won because you don’t care about the world or scared because other people may change how they think about you. But here is another question though.  Wouldn’t everyone be numb… ...Continue reading

Unconditional Love and Conditional Love Defined

posted by Stevie B on May 7th, 2008

Love, as we have already defined it, is simply the act of thanks. However, given the idea of love being thanks, what is conditional and unconditional love? Are we to give thanks to someone regardless of what they do to us or others? What if they , like try and kill us, are we suppose to give thanks for actions such as that? Is it okay to love people conditionally or is there another reason why we love conditionally? Why is it that people can love unconditionally towards certain people but not towards others? Since these questions are ...Continue reading

Perspective: The Truth Behind It

posted by Stevie B on May 7th, 2008

Perspective is a very interesting concept that actually dictates how you live your life, how you improve your life and, a lot of times, how you feel. However, the idea of perspective is often misunderstood. For instance, is there another perspective when it comes to who wins a hockey game or is the winner the winner? What is the difference between perspective and truth and can you guarantee that your perspective is truth? Since we act based on what we know, then don’t you act based on your perspective of things? If so, then how do… ...Continue reading

How Do I Figure Out What I Want If I Can’t Judge?

posted by Stevie B on April 18th, 2008

You can do this by understanding who you are. Since we found out that you are not your thoughts, emotions, actions or results in your life and instead you are the gardener that plants the seeds that give you your thoughts, emotions, actions and results in your life. Therefore, you can treat your thoughts, emotions, actions and results as objects. However, there must be a recognition that a person can change because they can change their thoughts. Therefore, someone’s previous thoughts, emotions and actions are not a reflection of who they are today or tomorrow. It is only ...Continue reading

How Do You Get What You Want From People?

posted by Stevie B on April 18th, 2008

There are two types of thoughts you can have to get what you want.  The intention of wanting and the idea of expecting. Since I am not an object, and neither are you, we cannot expect, which leaves us only one type of thought left.

What we want.

This is how we, as living beings, should communicate with each other. Your interactions with people should be about what we both want. Therefore, if you wanted to sell a product to someone so that you can make money, what must be understood is that you cannot control this person to buy it ...Continue reading

So How Can I Make More Money in My Life?

posted by Stevie B on April 18th, 2008

Start by Following These Principles
By taking the principles that we have talked about here and applying it to your life. To summarize the principles, we must:

- Not work for money, but instead work to give people what they want

- Do not expect money back when you give people what they want. Money should not be conditional, as money in its truest form is thanks and conditional thanks is not thanks. It is a form of control.

- Do not control people to get them to give you money, as stealing removes the original intention of money, which is thanks

Now that we ...Continue reading

Why Does Love Hurt?

posted by Stevie B on April 17th, 2008

Love is not always a bed of roses. Sometimes people are hurt emotionally and sometimes physically over the very feeling of love. So why does love drive so many people to get hurt if the feeling of love is generally a positive experience?

To begin to answer this question, we need to understand why people will first walk away from love in the first place. To do so, we need to separate what someone wants and the feeling of love, as they are two separate things.

Appreciating someone is an act of love that causes the feeling ...Continue reading
